In Kefalonia’s Livadi, near Lixouri, Kefalonia fisheries opened in 1981 and developed into the first big fish farming unit for Mediterranean seabass and seabream in Europe.
The organic seabream is cleaned and gutted and then packaged so as to be sold frozen. The fish farm operates with great respect to the environment and the fish themselves, which take up only 1% of the entire space.
