Giorgos Sousouras’ Trizoni, in Kriopigi, is a fish restaurant with history, character and meaningful evolution. From 1983 to the present day, it has moved from legendary taverna to contemporary fish restaurant, having dared early on to do things that then seemed almost advanced for the Greek scene, such as charcoal-grilled scorpionfish and cod, or tuna sashimi. Today, with Asterios Sousouras continuing the story and taking the restaurant several steps further, Trizoni offers an impressive fish display, fish grilled with knowledge and precision, as well as more creative propositions, such as smoked mackerel with a French onion soup sauce, or sardine with bourdetto.
